Soft and Chewy Butterscotch Chocolate Chip Cookies
Easy one bowl recipe for chewy butterscotch cookies with milk chocolate chips. No chill time required, these cookies can be ready in under half an hour!
- Brown sugar
- Baking powder
- Baking soda
- Butterscotch morsels
- Chocolate chips
Begin by beating the sugars and butter together, before adding the egg and vanilla. Then sift in the dry ingredients and stir in the morsels.
Scoop out your cookie dough.
Tip: pre-scooping is a great way to double check how many cookies you'll be able to bake and to redistribute dough i needed.
Place the cookies well spaced on parchment paper and bake on a preheated sheet pan until the edges start to go golden.
Sprinkle with sea salt as soon as you take them out of the oven!
For chewier cookies, let them cool on the sheet pan for a few minutes once baked!
