Gooey & Chewy Cherry Almond Blondies
The ultimate chewy and gooey blondie bar inspired by the British bakewell classic! An almond and white chocolate blondie with a tangy layer of cherry jam
You'll need: - Flour - Almond flour - Cornstarch - Baking powder - Salt - Sugar - Brown sugar - Eggs - Vanilla - Almond extract - White chocolate - Cherry jam
To make the blondies, this is a one bowl recipe. Beat the sugars and melted butter, then add the eggs and flavourings.
Then add the dry ingredients and stir with a spatula to combine. Add the white chocolate and stir to distribute.
Spread about ⅔ of the batter in a lined baking pan, spreading evenly. Top with the jam and then add the remaining batter.
After carefully spreading the batter over the jam, top with sliced almonds and bake.
For a finished Bakewell effect, top with a drizzle of frosting.
