And of course, the tres leches, or three milks: - Evaporated milk - Sweetened condensed milk - Milk (preferably full-fat or whole milk)

The cake batter is a light and airy sponge made using a meringue to assist in the leavening. This gives you the perfect sponge for soaking in tres leches.
